British Pink Floyd Show brings 'greatest hits' tour to Plymouth Pavilions (news)

The British Pink Floyd Show is heading to Plymouth Pavilions next year as part of a ‘greatest hits’ world tour.

From the producer of The Australian Pink Floyd Show, The British Pink Floyd Show is a new and even bigger live spectacular.

A spokesperson for the promoter explained: “In recent years the The Australian Pink Floyd Show has featured primarily British musicians and it’s come to a point where a British name rather than a Australian name is more appropriate.

“The past two tours in the USA have featured a near all British line up with no Australians. We don’t want to stretch the goodwill of Pink Floyd or the fans, and therefore now is a good time to make the change.

“Everything else about the ‘BritFloyd’ tour will remain unchanged, including the sound, lights, lasers and animation.”

The global tour, Pink Floyd Greatest Hits World Tour 2011, will showcase the biggest and most spectacular Floyd tribute of all time.

Expect two-and-a-half hours of the absolute best of Floyd live in the sort of spectacularly ostentatious setting that all true Floyd fans will relish.

The British Pink Floyd Show hits Plymouth Pavilions on April 30, 2011. Tickets cost £37.50 & £27.50 on 0845 146 1460 and the Pavilions website.
