Girl group The Saturdays are set to return to Plymouth Pavilions next year as part of their 17-date ‘Headlines’ tour.
The band consists of Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White, Mollie King and Una Healy. Both Sandford and Wiseman were formerly part of S Club Juniors.
Rochelle said: “We couldn’t be more excited for the Headlines tour.
“Performing live is absolutely our favourite part of being in The Saturdays, and we can’t wait to see all our fans up and down the country.”
The Saturdays have had a growing fanbase since their first single was released in 2008.
The group’s debut album, Chasing Lights, produced three UK Top 10 singles, If This Is Love, Up, and Issues, and was said by The Times to ‘eclipse recent efforts of the Sugababes and Pussycat Dolls‘.
Their second album, Wordshaker, was released last October and boasted the hits Forever Is Over and Ego.
This month, the girls released a mini-album titled Headlines! and released the single Missing You which entered the UK Singles Chart at number three.
They’ve also been starring in their own reality TV show on ITV2 called The Saturdays: 24/7.
The Saturdays hit Plymouth Pavilions on February 24, 2011. Tickets cost £24 and go on sale from September 3 from the Pavilions website.
