Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace are bringing their spectacular show, Midnight Tango, to Plymouth Pavilions next year.
With their stunning tango routines, Vincent and Flavia have dazzled television audiences for the last six series of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing; and now they’ve created their own live show, Midnight Tango, which breathtakingly brings all the drama, sensuality and elegance of this most exciting of dance forms to life.
Set in a late night bar in downtown Buenos Aires, and featuring some of the finest tango dancers in the world, the show takes you on a journey into the heart of this intoxicating city.
As danger and excitement, joy and jealousy, pain and passion all combine, this is a spectacular and explosive evening not to be missed.
Flavia said: “Vincent and I have been performing since a very young age, all over the world and in ballrooms all around the United Kingdom.
“We have had only a small taster of performing on a stage this year and it was a thrilling experience.
“The fact that we can finally tour with our own Argentine tango show is so exciting – it’s difficult to put into words how we feel.
“We hope that, as always, we will have amazing support all round the British Isles and we hope to bring a little passion into people’s lives.”
The nationwide tour of Midnight Tango is produced by Arlene Phillips and Adam Spiegel.
Arlene said: “Watching Vincent and Flavia performing their Argentine tango is as thrilling as dance gets.
“They have thrilled audiences on Strictly Come Dancing, and their new theatre show is a great opportunity for people up and down the country to see them live and feel the excitement.”
Vincent and Flavia bring Midnight Tango to Plymouth Pavilions from May 31 to June 4, 2011. For ticket prices and details, see the Pavilions website.
