Hip-hop star Professor Green is set to return to Plymouth Pavilions in 2012 as part of a new UK tour.

Currently in the midst of his biggest tour to date – which saw a landmark performance at London’s Roundhouse on November 3 – Professor Green has announced dates for a new UK tour.

Fans can expect to hear tunes from his latest album, At Your Inconvenience, which reached number three in the UK album chart in October.

Representing a huge leap forward in Green’s sound, the album is peppered with his cheeky, jaw-dropping pop culture references.

The first single from the record, Read All About It, featured vocals from Scottish singer/songwriter Emeli Sande.
It debuted at number one in the UK with sales of over 153,000 copies and spent two consecutive weeks at the peak.

Professor Green found huge chart success last year with the hits Need You Tonight and Just Be Good To Green, as well as the album Alive Till I’m Dead, which reached number two in the UK album chart.

Just Be Good To Green featured touring partner Lily Allen (they visited Plymouth Pavilions in November 2009) and became a top five hit in the UK, as well as a top 20 hit in Ireland and on the European Hot 100 Singles.

He also visited Plymouth Pavilions in April this year as part of the N-Dubz Love.Live.Life tour.

Professor Green hits Plymouth Pavilions on April 25, 2012. Tickets cost £18.50 and go on sale at 9am on November 25, 2011, from the Pavilions website.
