N-Dubz rapper turned solo star Dappy is set to visit O2 Academy Bristol this autumn as part of a 17-date UK tour.

Fresh from massive chart success and the popular Rockstar collaboration with Queen‘s Brian May, Dappy has announced a string of live dates for September.

N-Dubz hit the big time in 2008 with hits such as Ouch, Papa Can You Hear Me and I Need You as well as collaborations with Tinchy Stryder, Pixie Lott, Chipmunk, Mr Hudson and Wiley.

Rumours of a split surfaced last August but Dappy insisted the band were simply taking a break. As such, during the group’s hiatus period, all three members decided to embark on solo careers.

Dappy‘s debut solo single, No Regrets, was released last September, peaking at number one on the UK Singles Chart, with sales of 96,939 copies in its first week.

Second single, Rockstar, featuring Brian May, hit number two in the singles chart last month, and has received more than four million views on YouTube. It also debuted at number one on the R&B chart, dethroning Flo Rida and Sia‘s Wild Ones.

Dappy‘s eagerly-awaited debut album, Dare To Dream, is due out this year.

Dappy hits O2 Academy Bristol on September 30, 2012. Tickets go on sale at 9am on March 16, 2012.
