Alexandra Burke has been confirmed as very special guest when JLS perform at Powderham Castle near Exeter this summer.

The fellow X Factor contestant, winner of the 2008 series, will be on stage singing all her hits including Bad Boys, Broken Heels and most recent release Elephant – the first single from her forthcoming second album.

Speaking about the album, Alexandra said: “It’s got to be sexy. So I’m going to get a lot fiercer and sexier. We’re just getting down and dirty with the next album. I’m going to take a lot more risks and it’s going to be insane.”

Back in December 2008, Alexandra sold 105,000 copies of her debut single, Hallelujah, in just 24 hours – a European record.

Hallelujah went on to become the Christmas Number One and was also the top-selling song of 2008.

The Powderham Castle show is one of just six major outdoor concerts JLS are performing across the UK this summer.

Concert promoters are promising to bring an all-new show to the band’s growing army of fans.

Also joining the bill is 17-year-old singer-songwriter A*M*E.

JLS hit Powderham Castle on September 1, 2012. Tickets cost £33.50 from the Gigantic website.
