Pop-rockers Feeder are set to visit Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay as part of a string of low-key summer shows.
The special Sundowner Sessions beach show falls between a number of festival appearances, including Isle Of Wight, T In The Park and Kendal Calling.
Feeder’s latest single, Children Of The Sun, was released last month and taken from the group’s new album Generation Freakshow.
Children Of The Sun harks back to Feeder’s most emotive and melodic moments – a reminder that despite making a name for themselves with high-energy rock tracks, Feeder are equally skilled at crafting slow-burning anthems.
Feeder found mainstream success in 2001 with the hit single Buck Rogers, and the attendant album Echo Park, which reached number five in the UK.
Their next release, 2002′s Comfort in Sound, spawned the hit singles Come Back Around, their second top 10 single Just the Way I’m Feeling, Forget About Tomorrow and Find the Colour.
Support for the Newquay show comes from Brother & Bones and Kezia.
Feeder hit Lusty Glaze Beach on July 26, 2012. Tickets cost £20 from the See Tickets website.
