Marti Pellow is set to star for one week only in legendary musical Blood Brothers at Theatre Royal Plymouth this autumn.

Marti Pellow‘s successes with Wet Wet Wet include dozens of Top 10 singles and multi-platinum albums –  their hit single, Love is All Around, spent 15 weeks at the number one spot in the UK charts in 1994 when it featured on the soundtrack to Four Weddings and a Funeral.

As well as a critically acclaimed solo career, Marti has gone on to star in the West End, on Broadway and on national tour in the smash-hit stage musicals Chicago, Jeckyll & Hyde and The Witches of Eastwick.

Now the Wet Wet Wet frontman will take on the role of Narrator in the critically-acclaimed smash-hit musical Blood Brothers.

Written by Willy Russell, the legendary show tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences.

The superb score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally-charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True.

Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi-award-winning Blood Brothers, and Bill Kenwright’s production, having recently celebrated its 23rd phenomenal year in London, continues to enjoy standing ovations at every heart-breaking performance.

Marti Pellow stars in Blood Brothers at Theatre Royal Plymouth from September 24 to 29, 2012.
