Brit Award-winner Tom Odell will visit O2 Academy Bristol this autumn as part of a new UK tour.
Tom Odell is the winner of this year’s prestigious Critics’ Choice Award, announced at the Brit Awards last month.
The gong is for British acts tipped by critics for mainstream success in the forthcoming year who are yet to release their debut album.
In previous years it has been awarded to Emeli Sande, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Florence and the Machine and Adele.
West Sussex-born Odell, who was recently added to the Relentless Boardmasters lineup, has been writing songs from the age of 13. Now 22, Tom has built up a sizeable fanbase, with support from the public and critics alike.
He released his debut EP, Songs From Another Love, to much acclaim in late 2012, following the release with a performance on Later… With Jools Holland.
Odell releases his debut album, Long Way Down, on April 15 though ITNO/Columbia Records. His new single, Hold Me, will be released on March 31.
Tom Odell hits O2 Academy Bristol on October 29, 2013. Tickets go on sale at 9am on March 8, 2013.
