Jamie Cullum is set to visit Colston Hall Bristol and Princess Theatre Torquay this autumn as part of his Momentum UK tour.
Jamie Cullum has announced details of his Momentum tour – his first full-scale tour in three years. The news follows last week’s release of his first studio album since 2009.
Titled Momentum for good reason, his sixth studio album is bursting with ideas and inspirations, which almost have a life of their own and has been dubbed his best work yet.
It was produced in part by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Adele) and Dan The Automator (Kasabian, DJ Shadow).
The album includes covers of Love For Sale (which he earlier recorded for his independent album Heard It All Before) and Anthony Newley’s Pure Imagination.
Jamie gave people a taste of his electrifying live presence last week when he played three different venues on the same day to promote the launch of his new record.
He played on the concourse at St Pancras International, the rooftop at Shelter UK, with the finale at The London Shard.
Jamie Cullum found fame after his first TV appearance, on Parkinson in April 2003.
He went on to sign a £1m contract for three albums with Universal and subsequently became the UK’s biggest-selling jazz artist of all time.
