Comedian Adam Hills will bring his new show, Happyism, to Queens Theatre Barnstaple and Exeter Corn Exchange this autumn.
Fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adam Hills is ready to embark on a 35-date tour of the UK and Ireland.
Happyism will see everyone’s favourite Antipodean comedian take to the stage for a first-class evening of comedy with the usual anecdotes and audience participation all delivered in his refreshingly unique, laidback style.
Adam Hills became a household name in the UK after his part in the London Paralympics Games where he fronted the hugely successful The Last Leg for Channel 4, alongside Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker.
Its success led to Adam hosting Channel 4’s alternative Christmas Day message – a first for an Australian!
A third series of The Last Leg is currently airing live on Wednesday nights on Channel 4.
His rampant spontaneity and positive uplifting comedy has won him numerous awards and nominations together with glowing reviews.
The Guardian says Adam Hills performs ‘stand up so effortlessly brilliant you wonder why some comedians even get out of bed’ while The Scotsman says ‘Hills is comedy sunshine and it’s rather nice to bask in his glow’.
