The superb performance by Plymouth Philharmonic Choir at the Guildhall was a fitting tribute to choir president Philip Liddicoat, says classical reviewer Philip R Buttall. 
Plymouth Philharmonic Choir has performed Rutter’s Magnificat, and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana before, though not on the same programme. 
Plymouth Philharmonic Choir gave a highly idiomatic performance at the city’s RC Cathedral yesterday evening – further enhancing the choir’s reputation in terms of its versatility. |
